Douglas Guilherme is Vice President Supply Chain, International Markets Strategic Planning and Logistics for Ecolab, with the challenge of doubling the business in the coming five years while creating the culture and capability of the next decade. Before joining Ecolab, Douglas spent almost three years with Avon, five years in the Pharma business at Akzo Nobel, and 14 years at Procter & Gamble in Brazil, Panamá, and Colombia, managing manufacturing, logistics, procurement, innovation. Originally from Sao Paulo, Brazil, Douglas holds a bachelor's degree in pharmacy and biochemistry, a post-graduate diploma in operations, an MBA in business administration and management, and a masters degree in logistics. Douglas joined Ecolab in 2019 as Vice President Supply Chain Latin America South based in Chile.
Prior to joining Ecolab, Douglas spent almost 3 years with Avon, 5 years on the Pharma business at Akzo Nobel, 14 years at Procter & Gamble in Brazil, Panamá and Colombia managing Manufacturing, Logistics, Procurement, Innovation. Finally, he had an experience on Food Business at Fonterra managing Manufacturing, Supply Chain, R&D, Sustainability.
Originally from Sao Paulo, Brazil, Douglas holds both bachelor’s degree as pharmacist and biochemistry, post-grad on Operations and on Administration and Master in Logistics. He speaks Portuguese, Spanish, English and French. He and his wife Renata are relocating to St. Paul, Minnesota with their kids Luisa, 11 and Vinicius, 9.
